The Waterproof D3 Rescue is based on drysuits developed for the military special forces. Suits made with an emphasis on lightweight, flexibility and moveability. By listening to the needs of rescue personnel, firefighters other professionals working in the field, the Waterproof D3 Rescue was born. The new suit shares a lot of characteristics with its military sibling, but it is made out of a strong Tri-Lam fabric instead of a breathable membrane. The D3 Rescue is designed with unrestricted movability in mind, above the water as well as under the surface. The suit has a slim cut around the torso and legs, which results in less drag underwater and limits unnecessary air movement within the suit.
Waterproof has developed and tested drysuit fabrics together with producers since 1983 and to date, Nylotech isthe best durable lightweight drysuit fabric we have ever developed. The special formula Nylotech fabric is lightweight, soft and durable – a rare combination.The D3 Rescue is sewn together with a single stitch and soft rubber taped seams which ensures a very flexible and comfortable suit. Soft, flexible neoprene boots and plastic keeps the weight down.The whole suit including valves, boots, seals and suspenders weighs only 4.1 kg (men ́s medium). So, if you value moveability, flexibility, a snug fit, low weight but still a durable suit – the D3 Rescue is for you.
FIXED SANDWICH HOOD – Fixed Sandwich Hood with reflectors and H.A.V.S ventilation system adapted for a full face mask. As an option the D3 RESCUE is delivered with a non-attached separate hood.
DUAL LIGHTWEIGHT POCKETS – Dual light weight leg pockets equipped with a lid grip, large drain and double cord loops.
GADGET HOLDERS – Holders for a microphone, radio, computer or other are placed on the chest.
REFLECTORS – Strategically positioned reflectors to enhance visibility, above and under water.
SI TECH QCS RING SYSTEM – Equipped with the SI TECH QCS ring system optimised for the use of the Ultima Dry Glove System. WP’s Silicone Seals are pre- installed. Extremely comfortable and easy to change. Latex seals are also compatible. As an option the D3 RESCUE is delivered with glued latex or neoprene wrist and neck seals.
YKK PLASTIC DRYZIPPER – A YKK plastic dryzipper in the back for maximum movability. The placement enables you to open & close the zipper by yourself.
KEVLAR REINFORCED KNEEPADS – Kevlar reinforced kneepads with pocket for knee protection padding.
NYLOTECH – A newly developed material, softer and stronger than ever. Abrasion tested (200 000 rubs) by the Martindale Method according to SS-EN ISO 12947-2:2017. Single stitched and single taped for improved mobility.
VERSATILE – The D3 Rescue is based on a military drysuit model, where lightweight, flexibility and movability is essential.
SLIM FIT – For unrestricted movability and enhanced control both above and below the surface.

VELCRO PATCH – Velcro patch on the left arm for name or unit info.

SI TECH QUICK NECK – The neck is equipped with SI TECH’s QUICK NECK system and comes with WP’s Silicone Neck Seal. Extremely comfortable and easy to change. Latex and Neoprene seals are also compatible.
